Samsung reveals ICS update Schedule for Galaxy Line

We all know the only device now running the latest firmware version is Galaxy nexus. we all know that in the near future many devices would be joining this party soon. Samsung had came up and unveils that schedule of the ICS update to the Galaxy Line which will be updated to the Android 4.0

The first devices which would be tasting this ICS update is Samsung Note, Samsung Galaxy S2. Updates will be coming to this devices in the first quarter of the 2012.And we all know the devices with the Galaxy would be tasting the Ice Cream Sandwich but we don't have exact schedule dates for other Galaxy Devices when they would probably updating there devices to the Android 4.0

The Other devices which are going to get the updates are Samsung Galaxy s2 LTE  and Samsung Galaxy R. The Other Tablets like Tab 10.1, Tab 8.9, Tab 7.7 and Tab 7.0 Plus.This devices will also soon be getting the Android 4.0 device.And the ICS update from the carriers will be updated in different times and depending on your carriers. And even the Galaxy Ace got the Alpha Rom of ICS. So we will soon be able to see all our Galaxy line in the new ICS update in the near future.

GSM Galaxy Nexus gets 4.0.2 update and also 4.03 update announced by Google

Google is making it possible by rolling out the latest firmware updates to the Galaxy Nexus, they first started rolling out the 4.0.2 Android update to the LTE version of the Galaxy nexus soon after that they didn't wasted any time sending the update to the GSM Galaxy Nexus. They started rolling out the latest update to the Galaxy Nexus by OTA.

And also not that at all Google had also announced the latest update from it 4.03 which would add some of the major bug fixes, performance updates, and also new API which would be used in the social streaming API, Contacts Provider, Calender improvements and much more and the 4.02 update is so small it is just 8.7MB. Latest Adobe Flash Player comes to Android Market with performance and bug fixes, still doesn't support ICS

We all know that we heard the news from the Adobe of discontinuing the Adobe Flash player to the Mobile in the middle and try to concentrate on the HTML5. Even though they are working hard to bring some of the updates to the Android Mobile which support Adobe flash players. Now we can see the latest updated Adobe Flash Player which was sitting in the Android Market.

This latest updates from the Adobe Flash Player was 11.1.111.5 which brings some of the performance issues and the bug fixes which are related to the Samsung Galaxy s2 which there is a problem with the playback of streaming  video in the web browser. And they had 1080p video support to the Nvidia Tegra 3 Devices and even and video playback for video decoding.

And we also know that they had promised that they will be releasing the last update which would be seen in the Android Market to the Ice Cream Sandwich which should be released in this month still no sign of the update from the Adobe. But great to see that they are still giving the support to the issues which are been troubled by the Android Devices. Samsung Mobile Shipments crossed 300 million

Samsung just announced that the shipments of their mobile had grown very vast and they had crossed 300 million milestone.The first one to cross this milestone was the Nokia now the Samsung was the second company to cross this milestone.

Most of the people know after introducing the Galaxy line their gross of shipment had increased very high. Without this Galaxy line this milestone would been possible to them. And they admitted that Galaxy s and Galaxy SII had made this possible and also played a vital role in the 4G LTE market and grabbed about 33 percent Share of  market in Q3 2011. By this milestone we can easy that Samsung had sold 820,000 each and every day. That was really a huge number.

Samsung first crossed the one million milestone of shipping the handset in the Year 1996 and from then the milestones continues 100 million marks in 2005 and 200 million in 2009 and in the couple of years it crossed 300 million. In this future we can see more milestones from the Samsung. And we also know the Samsung had created a milestone in Galaxy S2 too.

Google released Stock Image for Galaxy Nexus for easy reinstall

Couple of weeks ago the source code of the Android 4.0 Ice cream Sandwich was released.Once releasing the source code of the Android 4.0 every body might be busy in modding the source code and testing the new kind of ROM on the Galaxy Nexus which would make the Galaxy nexus look and feel totally different.

Every Developer might be creating their own Rom and modding and testing on the Galaxy Nexus.What if it became Brick or freezes soon after installing the modded Rom.

Android Adds Indoor Maps in Google Maps 6.0

Android came up with the new update in the newly updated Google Maps 6.0 with the indoor maps. With the indoor maps of Malls, Airports, train stations which is not available in the Google Android Market and with new homescreen and switch between the menu to select the features.

One of the minor update in the Google Maps 6.0 was the we have a sub menu a quite nice drop down sub menu where we can actually select all our selections like Latitudes, Places, Navigation places, Place home screens etc by this which make the selection pretty easier.

Adobe confirms Flash Support For Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich

Couple of weeks back we have seen the Adobe had pulled out the plug of rolling the updates and development of the Flash support to the Smartphone. From the past one year Adobe had made a remarkable history in the Android Platform.And we have all seen that Samsung Galaxy Nexus was unable to play the Flash on the Stock browser.To that Adobe had responded that they will be releasing the last update to the Android Green Robots. They confirmed that Android 4.0 will be supporting Flash Support.

And they confirmed that they will release the update soon by before the end of the year. So we all gonna see some flash on our Android Devices. And also they stated that they wont be rolling any more updates to the next update i.e Android 5.0 named as Jelly Bean. Samsung Confirms Galaxy S2 will be getting Android 4.0 ICS Update

We have seen yesterday that Xperia line list which are going to get the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Update. Now the Samsung UK had confirmed through their Twitter page that top best selling smartphone all over the world which is having the top performance and hardware Samsung Galaxy S2 will be updated to Android 4.0 ICS( Ice Cream Sandwich).

This news was posted through the twitter page of Samsung UK. So Unfortunately even Samsung didn't reveal any dates when we able to see the ICS update running on the Samsung Galaxy s2. So as they got confirmed. we will see soon the ICS update on our Samsung Big Beast Galaxy S2.

Google releases the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Source Code

Most awaiting source code from the Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream sandwich was finally Officially released. From now on we can able to more updates from the Ice cream Sandwich update. If we got skills in the programming we can go on do our modifications to the code and make a new updates to the Android 4.0.
If not lets wait for the modifications done by the developers and make some cool features integrated with the blazing speed performance Roms to our Android Green Robots.

The File which was pushed out was Android 4.0.1 which was acutally can be seen Samsung Google Nexus which was probably be releasing the couple of days or next week. So soon we will be able to see more Roms from the Developers and CyanogenMod Teams and even they have promised they will come back with in two months with the Roms which was actually support the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Update.

iPhone still struggles with the battery issue even after the update iOS 5.0.1

Soon after the release of the new patch which was rolled out very quickly once they have recognized the issues with the battery they thought this could resolve the issues of the battery draining problems in the Apple users.But what we have excepted had became upside down. Apple rolling out their first iOS 5.0.1 update,fixes battery issues

We have seen multiple issues from all over the world with the battery issue from the iPhone4s,iPhone4, iPhone 3gs and both version of iPad and 3rd and 4th Generation ipod touch soon after updating to the new iOS 5 update.Apple was the only one which would respond their EU issues and will come up with the solution within couple of days.

They are discontinuing this Adobe Flash Player support to the mobile device because they are focusing on the HTML5 which could be the next generation flash support to the Applications.As they have promised to release the last update to Adobe Flash Player 11.1 update that would be far most enough to all the desktop version which could probably be using the flash support now. Samsung Galaxy S2 gets Android 4.0 Ice Cream Update with help of MIUI Rom

We all been waiting see our blazing fast green robot Samsung Galaxy S2 with the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.But we don't have the exact information when Samsung would release to our device.The developers had made it possible by the blazing fast MIUI Rom.

By installing this ROM the performance on the Samsung Galaxy S2 was up to 2x performance and made a remarkable benchmarks results by crossing the 5000 when compared to the stock ROM which was given by the Samsung galaxy s2 it was just 3500.(Higher is Better)It almost given the double the performance when compared to the newly installed firmware on our green robot.
And the Sunspider JavaScript results were all unbelievable when compared to the old java script results.which was testing on the Gingerbread 3385, now on this new firmware it was 1774 (Here lower is better)
One thing we need to check on this is the developers had overclocked the speed to the 1.6Ghz as the performance of the GPU will be gone for about 30% performance.And the bad news here is the we can't experience the whole UI interface which was shown on the Android 4.0 update. LG confirms it will update LG Optimus 2x and other phones to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich

Most of the companies are trying to update their Smartphones to the Android 4.0 Ice cream Sandwich. But most of the LG optimus lovers might be disappointed when seeing that LG is not going to update their Optimus line to the Android 4.0. Its a good news to all they have responded on their Facebook Page. This is Official confirmation from the LG.

LG firmly denies the rumors that claim LG will not be providing the Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) OS update for the LG Optimus 2X. These rumors are Not true. LG is currently in the process of planning the ICS OS update for the LG Optimus 2X as well as othe LG high end Smartphones. Detailed information on the ICS OS update schedule for specific models will be announced, once the ICS OS is publicly released by Google. Please Stay tuned for more Updates from LG. Android 4.0 Ice cream Sandwich port available on Nexus s with minor bugs

LG Optimus 2X not getting Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Update

Soon after introduction of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich each and every company are trying to get their green robots to get updated to this Android 4.0.But this is pretty disappointment to the LG Optimus lovers that they are not getting the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update.

Officially announced Google Nexus One will not get Ice Cream Sandwich

iPhone4 was used to shoot some scenes in "The Avengers" Upcoming Movie

We all know that we are living in the mobile world.Most of the mobiles are capable of recording the HD video recording.we also know in some cases the mobiles are used to record an advertisements and music videos too. Now the iPhone4 came infront of us that it was been used to record some scenes in the upcoming action  movie "The Avengers"
Seamus McGravey probably we all know that he working as the cinematographer for this movie disclosed to the interview that some of the scenes in this movie were recording by the iPhone4, he just told that iPhone4 was used to record but which particular scene was recorded with it was not adressed.He also said that some of the scenes in the trailer had been recorded by the iPhone4. On seeing this we can't notify which scene was recorded by this iPhone4,probably the quality of the mobile technology had made a big difference.If you can figure it out in this trailer come on go ahead and check this The Avengers trailer which is going to be released on second quarter of 2012.

Face unlock in Samsung Galaxy Nexus

New way of unlocking our device. we have seen the bio metric thumb recognition in the Motorola Atrix. Now the Samsung and Google had a new way of unlocking the device with the face recognition in the upcoming beast Samsung Galaxy Nexus. This made possible with the new announced Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.Actually we can set up the face unlock from the settings and we can also keep the unlock pattern if we have the second thought. Because if the lighting conditions are absoultely fine there wont be any issue of face detection. If there is not an enough light to recongize your face then this pattern lock would be taking the chance to unlock the device. And most of people might be afraid what would happen if the device would unlock on showing the picture of the person. Google had assured us they have already taken care for that. Contacts : The whole new interface will be seen on the contacts with the big picture of the contact person and now the contacts are called as Just People. we can now integrate with new list of google+ and the Gtalk status messages. Contacts look and feel was so good.

Messaging: From the messaging point of view nothing is being changed major change in this was the improved spell checking and improved voice input. Tired on typing on the keyboard and switch on too the voice input which was improved a lot it keeps on recording the speech to text.

WebBrowser: This was improved a lot when compared to the previous versions of the stock browser. Now we can save the webpages from it. and also improved multi tasking to the new windows. And another major update was we can open the web browser in the Incognito mode so many people was not interested to see other people what they have opened through. where no history was saved on the application. And the browser was so fast when compared to the previous version.

Camera: we can actually open the camera app without unlocking the device which was probably seen on the other devices too.But in this camera app we can actually see pretty new features like continous autofocus while video recording and also can detect the face detection and which can shoot in panaroma mode. and also snapshot while recording in time lapse video shooting. 

By this features we can actually thing google are not backing down they are keep on making smiles forever.From this updates we can actually think they are some more features which are not introduced now they will keep on updating the whole new features with whole new interface.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus is Announced with ICS(Android Ice CreamSandwich)

Most awaited Smartphone which would probably running the first Google's Android OS Ice Cream Sandwich is being announced officially by the Samsung today.
This device is the first android device with Super Amoled Plus With HD display with a 4.65 inches of display size, and having the resolution of 720 * 1280(quite impressive). And with the processor  T1 OMAP 4460 platform with 1.2Ghz dual core A9 based processor, and having the 1 GB Ram, and it is very responsive. Internal Storage of this piece will be having 16/32Gb and microSD slot is missing. 
It has 5 MP camera at the back which can shoot 1080p video recording and the front camera with 1.3MP which can be used for the Video chatting. This device is having 1750mAh battery which could last one full day.But it depends upon how we use the Smartphone as per needs. we can shoot in panorama mode and shoot a time lapse mode video and zoom while video recording.

This Galaxy Nexus is supporting both LTE and  NFC on board. which could serve google wallet pretty good. and the bottom of the device there is a green glowing notification area which will notify us when we receive a message, missed call or an E-mail. The look of the device was so unique and doesn't have any hard buttons to go to the Menu. All the icons are displayed on the screen itself. Though it is combination of both Gingerbread and Honeycomb. This Android Robot will probably be released in coming November.

Drop Test of Samsung Galaxy s2 and iPhone4S

iPhone4s started rolling out and had sold about 4 million in three days.Pretty cool.If you actually own it please dont try this thing, small comparison from the Samsung Galaxy s2 and iPhone4s which could last long in this drop test.Actually it is the fight between the plastic and glass which could make your mind upset if you are a Apple Fan lover. Samsung Galaxy S2 managed with small scratches on it. But the iPhone4s couldn't make it.Actually Siri was pretty scared on drop test what to do..Just kidding..

Two phones were done the test with the three tests with the waist height and shoulder height and face down drop height.So as the leading Smartphone in the world took the chance of dropping on the ground.It couldn't actually survived in the back part of it.The Glass was damaged.The Second Test was done with a shoulder height it managed to drop on the corner of it.So no breakage just a little scratches, here comes to the third drop test the face down drop test. This test made us Sad. The Front glass of the iPhone4s didn't survive in this test. The Glass just broke down. Exactly the same three tests are been done to the Samsung Galaxy S2, it managed to pass all the rounds with high marks.If you want to test it be sure it was insured or try to pay some extra bucks to get a case, So it might be the best choice not to see our device and our heart heartbroken when it gets dropped from our hands.

Samsung Galaxy s2 update to bring bigger icons and adds System update widget

Samsung is planning to release the new minor update to the Samsung Galaxy s2 which could make our displayed icons size much bigger than the current size.There are going to increase the size of the icons about 30%. By this there will be not be displayed Four icon on the bottom of the Screen. Even though the Galaxy S2 has the bigger screen the bigger icons looks even more easy to touch and feel. Now we will be have the 3 * 3 Grid view on the screen, instead of 4 * 4 Grid view.

This changes made by this update might be with the Apple patents infringement lawsuits, which could probably change the look and design of the Software.And Samsung also added the new widget to the update list "System Update widget" which show you the Current software version and also pop up the notification when the new updated firmware is being released.So that we can easily update the Firmware over the air.
